How Antenna. works
Antenna. is a technical service that helps people find and watch television broadcasts distributed by third parties. The service does not create audiovisual works, does not upload, record or store archives of programmes, films or series on its servers.
Broadcasts come from external sources in the form in which broadcasters and operators distribute them. We do not change their content, do not select the programmes shown in them and do not choose their recipients. TV guide data, channel names and logos are used only to help viewers find a channel.
For transmitted material Antenna. acts as an information intermediary within the meaning of Article 1253.1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, as a service provider for transmission within the meaning of Section 512 of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and as an intermediary service under Article 4 of the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation 2022/2065). We do not initiate transmissions and cannot know in advance whether a particular broadcast infringes anyone's rights.
Our commitments
On receiving a substantiated notice with documents proving the rights, we promptly disable access to the disputed channel or material on the website, in the apps and in playlists.
We disconnect sources that receive repeated substantiated notices and keep records of the correspondence.
We do not ask rights holders for anything beyond what the law requires and do not charge for handling notices.
How to send a notice
Email abuse@antenna-tv.com with the subject Notice of infringement. The email, in English or Russian, must include:
- Details of the complainant: full name or company name, address, phone and email. If you act on behalf of a rights holder, say so.
- A description of the protected work: the channel, programme, film or other work whose rights are infringed.
- Exact links to pages on antenna-tv.com, or channel names in the app, where you believe the disputed material appears.
- Documents proving the rights: a certificate, licence agreement, assignment or other document. A representative attaches a power of attorney or other proof of authority.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on its behalf.
- The complainant's signature: handwritten on a scan, or electronic.
Timelines
We confirm receipt within one working day and review a complete notice within three working days. If information or documents are missing, we ask for them, and the review period restarts once we receive them.
We tell the complainant about our decision by email. When access is disabled, we also inform the source of the broadcast where possible.
Counter-notice
If access was disabled by mistake or misidentification, the person distributing the material may send a counter-notice to abuse@antenna-tv.com with their details, a description of the material, the grounds on which its distribution is lawful and a signature. We forward the counter-notice to the complainant and restore access unless the complainant confirms court proceedings within a reasonable time.
Liability for false notices
A knowingly false notice may harm third parties and viewers. The complainant is liable for damages caused by inaccurate information under applicable law, including Section 512(f) of the DMCA. We may decline notices sent in clear bad faith.
Requests from authorities
Requests under Article 15.2 of Russian Federal Law No. 149-FZ of 27 July 2006 On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection, and orders of competent authorities of other countries, are handled with priority. Send them to abuse@antenna-tv.com.
